adurai is one of the oldest cities of India located in Tamil Nadu. It was ruled by Pandya kings for the longest time in its history and is constructed in the form of a lotus. Madurai is considered to be the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu.Most people visit the Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi with a sanctum for her consort, Sundareshwarar. Thiruparankundram is one of the important old temples dedicated to Lord Muruga (Karthikeya) and is located on a hillock approximately 8 km from the city. Another thing Madurai is popular for its amazing street food. Heritage walks are conducted throughout the day. Those who wish to know more about the freedom struggle, though, will be interested in the extensive text housed here. DAY 01 : MADURAI
On arrival at Madurai, meet our representative. Check into the hotel. After refreshment, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit all temples, including Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Alazhar Temple, Palamudhircholai, Thiruparankundram, Mariamman Water Tank, Gandhi Museum and Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal. Overnight stay at Madurai.
DAY 02 : MADURAI - TRICHY
Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and Drive to Trichy which is 135 km away from Madurai. On arrival, check into hote. After refreshment, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the famous Trichy Rockfort Temple, Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, Sri Renganathar Temple, Renganathasamy Temple (Srirangam), and Tiruvanaikaval. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
DAY 03 : TRICHY - PALANI
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Palani, which is one of the Six abodes of Lord Muruga. After finishing Darshan, drive to Madurai railway station.
