Vindhyachal Temple is in the city named Vindhyachal in Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh. The temple of Maa Vindhyavasini is a Hindu pilgrimage site and is among one of the 51 Shakti peethas of India. There are several temples of other gods, the most famous one is Maa Ashtabhuja Devi and Kali Khoh temple. Maa Vindhyavasini temple is dedicated to the goddess Durga. It is said that Ashtabhuja was the sister of Lord Krishna, she came here after relieving herself from Kansa, who wanted to kill her. She was the eighth child born to Devaki and Vasudeva. These temples are located as three points of the triangle, forming a shape of a triangle that is the reason it is famous for Trikona Parikrama. The devotees believe that without performing parikrama worship of the Goddess is not complete. The temples are on the top of hills hence, the sight is rich with nature and looks very beautiful. We can easily see saints and rishis meditating here on the hills and also in the caves.
